Hike along old Indian trails and through Civil War battlefields

The trails intersect at places like the historic Cravens House, Point Park, Ruby Falls and the Incline. The trails take you through more than 200 years of history including Civil War and Indian War battlefields and the last battle of the American Revolution. Indian trails, old roads and railroad beds (like the original Incline) are also incorporated into the trail system.

Convenience and Cost

The Park is conveniently located between the most popular attractions on Lookout Mountain - Rock City, Ruby Falls, and the Incline. And, there is no charge to hike the trails. In comparison, it will cost $44, $40, $36, and $32 to visit the Tennessee Aquarium, Rock City, Ruby Falls, and the Incline, respectively for a family of 4 (ages 13 & up).

Despite its convenience and beauty, few people hike these trails. This is great for those who want to get away from the crowds and experience the natural beauty and serenity of the mountain. Few places offer you the combination of natural beauty, majestic views, fascinating rock formations, and historic significance as Lookout Mountain.
